We went for Mother’s Day and had a great time. There were a lot of people there celebrating as well. They had a couple of food trucks and live music. The grounds are beautiful but get there early if you want a seat with some shade. Next time we will pack a few chairs or a blanket. Tons of space for the kids to run around.

This is pretty much Disney World for adults. You can easily spend the entire day here just eating and drinks. There are a bunch of food trucks with different types of food and every beverage you can think of. The property size is grand and there is tons of parking including and overflow lot with shuttle service. Live music usually starts at 7pm and it usually gets pretty busy. Bring some camping chairs or blankets too, there is tons of grass areas where you can setup shop.

Bring water bottles for the kids and out side toys but NO CHALK. The bathrooms are nice and well kept. You’ll also love the drive up the path to the winery.

We’ve been to ZincHouse several times now and it doesn’t disappoint. Multi-leveled places for guests to sit and relax over a glass of wine, beer or bourbon. Large outdoor patio with beautiful fountain and room for special music. Guests can walk their vast property and visit the pond or barn. We went for their Christmas event with 80 vendors set up and Santa’s arrival. Multiple areas were set up around the property with fire pits to keep guests warm as it got darker.

One of the big drivers for this vision is the love that Kimberly and Mike have for this land. They want to share their love for this land by creating a space where people can fall away from the daily pressures of their lives and come away feeling inspired and with a sense of peace. Although we are no longer hosting private events at ZincHouse, we remain eager to share in your celebrations, milestones, and cherished memories. Your furry friends are welcome outside of our buildings where we have expansive seating and heaters for cooler weather.

Gowanus Public Art Initiative presented several eleven-month-long public art installations in the Gowanus neighborhood. GSS artist Jessica Dalrymple will host a virtual Botanical Drink ‘n’ Draw on Friday, April 24 at 7 pm on Zoom. He has been part of the Park Slope community as the visual art teacher at MS 51 for the past 24 years. His career includes recognition as the top winner of the Scholastic Art Awards in New York State; his students have won three National Gold Medals and two National Silver Medals. A short time later in 1995 Dunavant Enterprises was caught up in a federal probe that dragged on for several years. IRS agents from the criminal division along with members of the Agriculture Department's Inspector General Office raided the company's headquarters, serving and executing search warrants for records. In exchange for the necessary land, the PGA agreed to establish a PGA Tour Hall of Fame complex in the development, including a resort hotel, two 18-hole golf courses, and a gold academy. The Hall of Fame was expected to open by early 1994, but by that time the project was only just beginning to emerge from the development stage, the cost growing to $1.5 billion. In June 1994 Billy Dunavant and officials from the PGA and the state of Florida conducted an unusual groundbreaking ceremony, driving golf balls that set off explosions of confetti when they landed.

The project had evolved into the World Golf Village, which now included a Hall of Fame for virtually every ruling body in golf, including the United States Golf Association, the Royal & Ancient of St. Andrews, and the Masters' coordinator, Augusta National. In addition, the World Golf Village would boast a four-star resort hotel and convention center, three golf courses, a golf library and research center, a golf academy, a clubhouse, Mayo Clinic sports facility, and the new headquarters for PGA Tour productions. The golf village finally opened in May 1998, with attendance disappointing in its first year. Dunavant's residential project fared better, selling $50 million residential units in 1998, but in the summer of that year Dunavant opted to sell his interest to Pittsburgh-based Hillman Co. In September 1995 William B. Dunavant III, now 36 years old, ascended to the presidency of the firm. By now another family member, John D. Dunavant, was also occupying a key position, serving as senior vice-president of domestic sales as well as a member of the executive board.

He was also the first merchant to tap into the People's Republic of China, making his first sale to the mainland in November 1972. Later Dunavant moved aggressively to make sales to the Soviet Union. In the fall of 1990 Dunavant completed the largest individual sale of cotton in history, one million bales to China. In 1991 the company followed with an even better year, selling four million bales worth approximately $1.5 billion. It was also during this period that Dunavant became heavily involved in a golf enterprise utilizing land near Jacksonville, Florida, that had mostly been acquired in the early 1970s when it was used for potato farming.
